About Moral Compass Renovations

Moral Compass Renovations brings more than 15 years of construction experience to every project. We built the company around straightforward communication, careful work, and the belief that homeowners deserve to know what to expect.

We Remodel Homes. We Build Trust.

Moral Compass Renovations is a home remodeling company based in Douglas County, Colorado. We’ve spent 15 years working with homeowners across Lone Tree, Highlands Ranch, Castle Rock, Parker, and Littleton, handling everything from full kitchen remodels to custom carpentry work.

We manage and oversee every stage of your remodel, coordinating the specialized trades needed to complete the project.

We didn’t start this company to be the biggest name in Douglas County. We started it to do the work right even when that means telling a homeowner what they don’t want to hear, like when a project doesn’t need to be as expensive as they assumed, or when a “quick fix” isn’t actually a good idea long-term.

The Right Way, Every Time.

A moral compass points you in the right direction, even when it’s not the easy one. That’s the standard we hold ourselves to.

We believe homeowners deserve honest pricing, realistic timelines, and work that doesn’t need to be redone in five years. We’d rather lose a job by being upfront than win one by overpromising.

Every project we take on gets the same commitment: do it right, communicate clearly, and stand behind the work once it’s done.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Derek is absolutely amazing to work with! He helped completely transform what was formerly our sunroom and dog room into a beautiful, functional space that is now a coffee bar by day and a regular bar by night, while still keeping it a comfortable space for our dogs. We could not be happier with how it turned out!

Derek is professional, reliable, so easy to communicate with, and genuinely enjoyable to have around. He does what he says he is going to do, pays attention to the details, and takes pride in his work. His pricing is also very reasonable for the quality of work he provides.

I highly recommend Moral Compass Renovations to anyone looking for someone they can trust with a home project or remodel!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. We recently hired Derrick to remodel our guest bathroom and replace all of the balusters and handrails throughout our home with modern iron balusters and updated wood railings.

From start to finish, Derrick was professional, respectful, and incredibly detail-oriented. He took the time to make sure we were happy with every little detail, and his commitment to quality truly shows in the finished product. We couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

We would not hesitate to recommend Derrick to anyone looking for someone who takes pride in their work and delivers exceptional results.

THANK YOU, Derrick!
